Vet Tech Schools in Colorado
There are many vet tech schools in Colorado that are accredited by the AVMA. Some of the schools available for potential vet techs have full accreditation. There are also a few schools that are still in the provisional stage of accreditation. Remember that although schools with provisional status have not been through the complete phase of becoming a fully registered school they still offer degrees that will be honored by the AVMA so that you can take one of the national vet tech exams to become licensed. There are currently no schools in Colorado that are on probationary accreditation, administrative probation, terminal accreditation, or accreditation withdrawn status. Basically you have several schools to choose from that are currently in good standing with the AVMA. All of the vet tech schools in Colorado are currently two year programs that offer a degree in applied science. There are no schools in Colorado that offer a bachelors degree in a vet tech related program.
Colorado is definitely a state worth considering for attending a school that offers a vet tech program. With several schools throughout the state there are plenty of opportunities to complete your education and become a licensed vet tech.
